Welcome to “Le Moulin de César” vacation residence, nestled in the heart of the old Vaison-la-Romaine wheat mill. With a warm smile, our team opens the doors of what was once a flour mill.

Immerse yourself in history with our building, which dates back to 1832, built from the Moulin Chauvin that Paul César bought in 1920. The name “Moulin de César” echoes the mill’s heritage, while honoring César Geoffray, musician and choirmaster whose name adorns our street.

Don’t miss the old mill silo across the street, adorned with a magnificent fresco by local artist and street art enthusiast Klemz. This captivating work features the Emperor Hadrian and the ancient theater, emblematic symbols of the village.

A new fresco completes the picture in the center of Vaison-la-Romaine, on the Cours Taulignan. It illustrates Sabine, wife of Hadrian, and heralds the centenary of the addition of “la-Romaine” in 2024.

By choosing our residence for your rest, you immerse yourself in Vaison-la-Romaine’s rich past. Rest assured, although the manager is the guardian of this heritage, she doesn’t produce flour or bread! But she’ll be happy to guide you to all the wonders to be discovered or rediscovered.

At the table du Moulin, local and seasonal products are given pride of place, supporting the region’s producers. Our efforts in terms of lighting, with energy-saving LED bulbs, and water management contribute to respectful and responsible stays.

The welcome was perfect, as was the information on tours and places to run. The pool table, table soccer and ping pong table were popular with teenagers and older guests alike. The meals were good.
